Holes left open after bumper install

I installed a Rampage front bumper yesterday and noticed I had some bolt holes left open below the bumper and couldn't remember what mounted there. my first though was those are kinda ugly but oh well. After my first drive this morning I believe these holes are whistling. I think I will try and 3d print some caps. Has anyone else had this issue?

That's where the OEM skidplate bolts up. Little surprised an aggressive bumper like that didn't instruct you to retain the OE one you had or include one of their own, you've got some components begging to be tagged by a rock from the front now.

I had a plastic air dam but no skid plate. Maybe I need to look at an after market one

On the sports (which mine is as well), I think that probably was the skidplate. I replaced mine with an Oracle skidplate with an integral lightbar, but there's probably someone in your area on the forum who has one they'd give away - if you were in my area, I'd give you my extra lol

Those larger holes are for the OEM air dam support plate. Some call it a skid plate and I suppose, if you come across a small plant, you'll manage to skid by it.

I put the support plote back on which sits under the air dam, then installed the air dam fastening it to the support plate at the bottom and the bumper at the top.

How comfortable are you with a sawzall?

Without the Rubi E-Disco to protect, you can chop em off. The Evo Quarter Pounder instruction will include the cutoff locations.

As others have mentioned, otherwise you'll want to put a skid plate there.
