Hole in the Exhaust System?

I've never noticed this before but I saw something resembling water slow dripping from a neat round hole in the exhaust system after i shut off the engine. Is this normal behavior or did someone intentionally make this hole?

Install a Borla Climber Touring exhaust and it eliminates that part.

Thought about cutting that part out myself but didnt know what it would sound like without so I left it in lol. I did put a magnaflow axel back though

And lightens your wallet substantially!

i purposefully put a hole in the tips of my borla exhaust as that area is enlarged and collects water resulting in a fine amount of rust despite the black painted surface. hasn’t happened since.
