I'm sure many of you already know this, but I didn't, and didn't see any other threads on it, so thought I'd post it. Happened to notice today that there is a large hole that is in my JL frame in the front wheel wells (very easy to see). The hole is essential in accessing the bolt on the other side of the frame, but plugging it the rest of the time I would think is a good idea. There are drain holes, however water and rocks going into the frame at all is not optimal, so I'm going to plug them with some rubber grommets. Someone has already solved this problem, and you can find products online to plug it. The link below is what I think I'm going to get.

Thanks for this! I plugged my front ones and couldn't find rear ones. Mucho Gusto!

Correction, the link is to Amazon not eBay. I also see now there are several related threads on this (shown below), interestingly those didn’t show up when I searched.

I don’t plug any frame holes.
The way I see it is crap will always find it’e way in and it’s a lot easier to wash out the frame with the holes exposed. My frame gets flushed with clean water at least once a month and after every wheeling trip.

As long as the Foam Filler doesn't absorb water, and no moisture can form between the Foam and metal inside of frame
