Hello. We have had foggy weather here recently and I noticed that my hitch fog lamp that I installed was flooded with water and only half of it was lit. It also had a reversing light but I found out that they never connected it to me at the service. I do not have a towing device preparation and so the cables are led out from the rear light. I successfully installed the fog lamp and connected it to the flood cables. But the reversing light looks as if the connector on the white cable was permanently +. I switched the reversing lights to -? If so, what cable is it in the connector? And how should I then connect it when the hitch light has 3 cables, one common - and two +? One for the fog lamp and one for reversing. I made a connector on it and now I have a common - and + for the fog lamp and + for the reversing light. If it is true that the reversing light is switched - then I will probably have to connect it through a relay. But can I also have a signal on the relay -? and if so, which cable in the connector is it?
