Help...

I replaced the speakers in the front pods toda... Left the doors open for who knows how long and didn't pull the negative cable. Now when I start my jeep the dash is going crazy (Christmas tree like) and I don't have any power steering. The jeep started, but it definitely wasn't very happy about it. I drove it around and it seemed fine, with the exception of no power steering. And yes it appears I have the aux battery along with my v6 intmy 2021.

Any ideas of what might have happened? I have the batteries on a slow charge (2A) to see if that would help.

Not unusul to see that after running both batteries down..

Hook up your JL to a battery maintainer/ tender and leave on til the morning. After both batteries are charged back up your JL should be aok..

Hook you battery maintainer/ tender up to the pos and neg terminal of your Main battery. Do that and both Main and Aux battery will charged.

If you can, use a 5-10 amp battery maintainer / tender...

For a total 12v power disconnect you would do this to you Neg side... and not just disconnect the neg side..

Both batteries are AGM...

Well... no dice. Took it to the dealer this morning (driving without power steering is a fun flashback) and they tested the batteries and said they were good. So now it is a waiting game to get it diagnosed on Thurs. For now I'm vehicle-less until they can diagnose... sigh
