Help! What is this noise?!

2021 Willys Sport 2 Door
Standard front axle, no lockers.
Was wheeling 3 weeks ago. The last few days I started hearing this from the front driver's side. I thought it was a rock in my caliper.

Bizarre. I wouldn't like that either. If you're absolutely sure it's outboard of the differential, the hub needs to come apart. Look behind the disk and see if anything looks amiss.

Sounds like the shield is rubbing on the brake rotor.

have a look at your break shield. As other have stated. Probably bend.

Look to see if it might be the wheel weights rubbing on the calipers. I discovered that on my recently purchased, new to me JLU

Thx! Got it. A small rock was wedged in between the shield and back side of the caliper. It was jumping around so it was intermittently scraping!
