Lurked for a while, but first post, so I apologize if I am posting in the wrong place. I recently upgraded to 35" tires and new wheels on my 22 JLUR. I also replaced the rear bumper, in which meant they also replaced the reverse lights with LEDs.
So now, I have a speedometer that is off, and my reverse lights are inconsistent at best due to the voltage or whatever (electricity is not my wheelhouse). I need to get new TPMS anyway, so I contacted the dealership to get the OEM (had issues with the ones from Extreme Terrain failing) TPMS and also asked about flashing the vehicle for the larger tire size and the LEDs. The dealership stated that there is a package that you have to purchase through Mopar for like $100 to do this, and that I needed to call Mopar and purchase. I called Mopar, but the guy acted like he had no clue what I was even talking about and kept talking about not supporting aftermarket yada yada. So my question here is did the dealership service center just blow smoke up my butt and send me on a wild goose chase, or is this the right procedure? If this is the right path, is there a name for the package I am trying to convince Mopar that it exists?
Also, before it is mentioned, really not wanting to go the tazer route.. not a fan of having to unmarry etc. every time that I take it in.
Help?
