My goal is to use a relay so that the additional driving lights come on automatically when I switch to my factory high beam headlights. I found THIS thread that shows which factory wire to tap into to trigger the relay. My plan is to wire THESE lights using THIS harness connected to THIS pigtail and THIS relay. I believe I'll need to slightly modify the power supply cable in the DD harness so that the relay can be connected after the fuse. My problem is I have no idea what needs to be connected to each of the five terminals of the relay. One would be the trigger tapped from the high beam, one would be ground, one would be fused power from the battery, one would be power to the lights, and one would remain unused?

If we assume "to positive trigger source" is the wire tapped into the factory high beams and "device" is the new lights, is this diagram accurate?

That diagram looks correct to me.
I connected pin 30 to my Aux2. That way I enable the driving lights with the Aux switch, then they are slaved to (go on and off with) the hi-beams.

You could save a few dollars and get a 4 pin automotive relay since you don't need pin 87a.

Here's an older thread on the topic:

I tried to find some waterproof 4-pin relays but everything I saw looked like it had the same picture of random Chinesium relays. I don't know if the waterproof relay is strictly necessary, but I do like the fact that the wires are hard-spliced into it as opposed to just relying on those push-on spade connectors.

I have been using regular (non-waterproof) relays for lights since my TJ. As long as they are under the hood and high enough, you should not have an issue. I am about to install my Hella lights and I will be wiring it the same way. Get some Posi-taps if you do not already have some. Make wiring the high beam trigger easy.

And use some dialectric grease to the terminals.

Well, I appreciate all yinz guy's help but the driving lights were a no-go. I thought I was going to be able to use the bumper's light mount holes to mount two pairs of lights, but the inside holes are too close to the winch and there was no room to plug the lights in :crying:

You would need to do the wiring before and figure out the routing. I installed a set of these:

https://myhellalights.com/product/rallye-4000-x-led/

using this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016VAHX8E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I have a Smitty 77807 bumper with light tabs on the bar. I tapped into the drivers side high beam circuit with a posi tap, connected it to the blue wire from the switch harness without using any of the other two (ground, and switch illumination) and a couple of solder seal connectors and that was it. Here is an option for light mounts because your bumper does not seem to have any tabs on the bar.

There's tabs on the top of the bar but if the lights were that high they couldn't be used on the road, which is the whole reason I was going to add SAE driving lights. And the reason I went with SAE fog lights.

Too high for the Peoples Republic of PA? Can you mount them by hanging them off the bar?

It's my understanding that any light used on the street has to be below the headlights, and any light above has to be covered. I was going to return them but now I'm thinking I might hang onto them and get some cowl mounts. Maybe throw a set of covers in the glovebox in case anyone wants to go on a fishing trip and I can just play the "oh I forgot to put them on" game.

Could be. Not sure about Pa laws, but some of them are weird (can't remove your doors). I have been running H4's on anything that they will fit (Miata, Sirocco, Rabbit, and various Wranglers..) and never got an peep from law enforcement. Come to think of it, there are a lot of light bars I see on the roof that aren't covered here in NY.
