Has anyone experienced this? Emergency Flashers going on randomly

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or something similar.

To start with, I have a 2020 Willys, V6, Manual. The only options I ordered are, Hardtop, Trailer Tow Pkg and AC.

Now, for the situation. At first I thought it was me, at various times the Emergency Flashers would go on. This seems to happen while shifting. Then a few days ago, when the Emergency Flashers came on, my hand was not near the flasher button - but I was again shifting.

I can't get the problem to recreate by shifting, it just happens at odd times.

Any ideas ?

Sort of......

I have an automatic and twice while driving I was doing “something” (rolling power windows maybe) and I inadvertently ‘grazed” the hazard flasher button. Very concerning to me when it happened and I didnt know that I had done it. I thought something might be wrong. Then the second time it happened, I figured it out.

I recognize that you have already considered this but, is it possible that as you are moving the shift lever “forward” that you could be grazing the flasher button And not realizing it?

A few times I have accidentally turned on the AC, and once the hazards, or at least I assume I am accidentally hitting the buttons and turning them on.
