Hardtop remover/storage with low ceiling

I'm getting a 2021 Willys Sport JLU with hardtop soon and would like to have my garage ready for removing/storing the hardtop during Summer.
Problem is the garage in my 100 year old house has 8ft ceiling.
Is 8ft too low for a hoist?...should I use something like the rather pricey Top Lift Pro instead?
My last garage had 12ft ceiling so using a hoist would have been a nobrainer.

My Joists are pretty low. Not sure if 8 or 9 . I will measure and take a pic of my hoist set up. It’s close. I lift and drive out but there isn’t much room. May be tomorrow as I have to drive to office where my garage is.
