Need opinions. Pulling up on the handbrake give a strong feel of a single "ka-thunk" at mid throw. The dealer replaced the right rear brake plate assembly as he said there was a "cable lever" worn creating the issue. - No change.
Said I needed new rear pads/rotors. It needed done. So I did that. - No change.
Then they said the left rear brake plate will need replaced soon too.
The feel I get when pulling the handbrake up is that it's right under the console but inspection inside there revealed no issues. The area to look at seems right under the floorpan but over the tranny tail / transfer. - totally can't see without mirrors, cameras.
Any ideas to look before my backside freezes to my -18F garage floor?
Thanks.
