22 JLUR with LED taillights and blind spot monitors. Can I swap in a set of halogen taillights w/o the blind spot monitors? LED’s are supposed to last longer…..but definitely not cheap, even used. Or is there an aftermarket alternative that some of you like.

You want to down-tech and devolve to Halogens from factory LEDs? It's possible by installing factory halogen tailight assemblies. You'll likely get warnings regards the blind side monitors, possibly the lights. But why?

Have you seen the price of factory LED’s. I have the tail light portion not working on mine on the drivers side. Brake and turn work fine. 83k.

Unlike the halogen headlights, the taillights aren't bad at all. They also have the advantage of looking much more correct on a Jeep than do the bulbous LED housings.

To be fair, the halogen tails could do with a brighter Reverse bulb. That's easily remedied.

Check connections first, then consider aftermarket LEDs. The impression I get is that the blind side detectors transfer over to the new light assembly.

I found a set from OLM for just over $200 that work with factory LED’s. They have the blind spot monitor plug built in and the seal was easy. Thanks for the info.

Sure. You should put a link in so that others can check it out.
