Half cover ( not Trail ) for soft top ?

Hi..I am looking for a half cover to fit over my Sport softop . I have the base top with clear windows and vinyl fabric so I know its going to get hot as heck come summer. Kinda worried about the scratchiness of material against the windows. Any suggestions ?

Never heard such a thing, what are your concerns about the windows?
Them getting scratched when you go topless? I layer my windows between towels in summer.
The window part will stick if they are touching in the hot summer.

Basically a cab cover that can be used with the top on. I would like to keep heat out while protecting the soft top .Rain Gear makes one but its a bit pricey.

Easy on/off.
I do not want to hassle with a full cover when the cab is my main concern. All the ones I see are Trail covers and can only be used with everything off.
I live in Los Angeles so dont have to worry about extreme weather just looking to keep things cooler while adding some protection to the top. Thanks for the link.

I am looking for the same thing and the only thing I can find is the half cover from http://raingearcovers.com/. They don't make one for the JL 2-door yet. I primarily want to use it when I have the doors and back windows off but still have the top down or on safari mode.

But it says you can't use the trail cover with the top on. The half cover description says its meant for use with the top installed. I am very close to just ordering the trail cover and trying it out.

Right... Sort of like a non fitted trail cover that has slack

Has anyone tried the JK 1/2 cover on a JL? No word from Rain Gear when the JL 1/2 cover will be available. I like the idea of the half cover being able to cover the cab when the top is in safari mode. The trail cover cannot do that.
