We're going in my new Willys. Next year my son will probably be following us down in his TJ. He wanted to this year but he only has a learners and I don't know if it's valid in tennessee

Hmm... don't know for certain, but I would imagine that a learners permit issued in one state would be good in any state.... ?

The route from Orange to Pigeon Forge would be challenging enough in a TJ; factoring in a new driver in a TJ for that distance would be nerve racking.

That's what I was thinking too. My wife hates the interstate with me driving. She'd probably tap out 20 miles from home

I'm pumped about going. We are leaving Thursday and will be there late. Roadtrip!!!!

My dad will be in on Monday and Ill be up Tuesday night. Plan to hit Windrock Wednesday and Thursday then take in the event over the weekend. Should try to plan a place to get together for a bit one of those days.
