Yes. In the lower right of the passenger footwell. Remove the plastic paneling. There is a grounding point there. Let me see if I can find a picture of it.

so i'm sure there are other places on here where this is already covered but I haven't found an answer so i'm asking here. On my 18 jlu I recently had a engine swap and today I noticed a braided ground wire not connected. On the passenger side behind the fender liner I have this braided cable that attaches at the heat shield firewall area below the battery and fuse box. The rest of it is just hanging there with the other end laying on the inside frame rail just below the cat. Where does this mount? I don't see any studs on the frame rail but I do see one on what I believe is the motor mount. I don't see one anywhere on the side of the block but I see a couple holes where maybe I could bolt it to. So does anyone know what is one is for, where it mounts to, and if it could be a cause of some of my o2 sensor behavior?

There is a ground mount on the passenger side frame rail. It’s behind the fender liner. However, with that said, I am not saying that I know what that wire actually is.

I seen that when I took the liner out. 2 posts, one is being used and the other is free. The grounding strap isn't real long so it's limited where it can reach but it could reach that far. Obviously I don't know much about this sort of thing but I do know it's a ground and they serve a purpose. Haven't found much info online. Fun part is when I ask Copilot on my computer and google on my phone, I get 2 completely different answers as to where that ground is supposed to be connected to.

Maybe post a picture of the wire, and trace it back to it source for a picture as well?

Yeah that’s the frame rail ground I was thinking of

Excuse the horrible pic. It's hard to see but you can follow mine to where it attaches against the heat shield under the fuse box and battery box. When I found the cable it was laying inside the frame rail down by the cat. What I found online says it's probably an engine ground and typically attaches to a dedicated mounting point on the engine block or cylinder head.
