I did a search and saw others were complaining about this but I was not able to find any answers. It started happening after the transmission was replaced. I took it back and they said its not the transmission, they said it was the turbo and its normal I'm super skeptical about it being the turbo as well as it being normal.

Anyone ever figure this one out? I hate the thought of driving around putting wear on something that will prematurely fail later..

If it happens around 30mph under acceleration, it’s normal in the 4xe.

I would generally agree. It can vary in intensity and people are generally much more sensitive to things like this after a major repair, so just providing the data in case that is the issue.

regardless if it's normal or not, any idea what in specific is making the noise?
