I must admit I had not updated my Tazer for probably 2 years..... It took a good while. Downloaded 4-5 fixes/changes. Not much changed after plugging it in I really had only changed some TPMS pressures, tire sizes, and minor other things. The witech 2 software forces us to do software updates sometimes. It pops up with a map of all modules and color codes them with software versions so monkeys can’t mess it up. Some are labeled mandatory, others are suggested.
A new Tazer would fix the problem (if there was one).
It functions just like it always did, and now I have all the latest firmware and so on. It a good thing.
I did get a text back from Zautomotive and they did say there was a fix for the Tazer if it had happened as I fisrt thought. Thankfully it was not needed, but good to know the "restore" is there.
All imput was appreciated from the Jeep family.
