my local dealer got in their first Gladiator and I stopped and looked at it. It looks nice but this was basic Sport with small wheels and street tires. Not a lot of options but the sticker was 45K.

Yeeeeah... they’re just not for me. I like my 2-door with the best turning radius this side of a golf cart.
(For all the actually people out there, I know there are many cars like the Smart and the Miata with a better turning radius)

I do think the Gladiator looks better in person than in pictures. And it’ll sell for sure but I don’t know if it’ll have the longevity of the Wrangler.

I test drove one a couple of weeks ago. It was a Sport also and it did drive and ride very smoothly. I agree; it looks so much better in person. But, as my sales guy says, for this price you can get a loaded RAM with more inside room. I agreed with him about the RAM and said "yeah but how do you take off the doors and roof?". His response was "you don't". My response was a wink and smile.
