If Aux button is turned on a little LED light, lights up on the button.

Aux should show up in Uconnect.

I'm thinking your factory installed Aux was not ...is not activated.

Talk to your dealership.

If you have a Tazer JL you can enable Aux using it.

Yes, use the pink/orange wire if you want the 12v power to go on when you start your JL and the 12v power to go off when you turn off your JL.

IF you are wiring up a radar detector, you might want to do as I did and use one of the 15 amp Aux wires instead.

Do this and if you radar detector starts signaling to much ... false alerts, you can just reach over, press the associated Aux button and quickly turn the detector off.

Once you get past the false alert villain, you can just as quickly tune the radar detector back on.

Remember, this same Aux switch can be set up so the radar detector comes on when you start the JL and urns off when you turn the JL off.

I just hardwired my Passport 360 to the lighter; P/O wire and worked perfectly. I threw the ground on the screw that holds the plastic center console to the metal frame of the dash. It's literally right behind where the lighter harness is and it worked well. Detector comes on/off with start button and the look is clean.
