Hey everyone, since the search function simply returns too many results that don't really match my question, I'm starting a new thread.

We added a Superwinch SX10 and steel bumper to our 2021 JLUR. We also added a steel rear bumper. Suspension is stock, and sagged a bit. The rear is definitely sitting higher than I want, and likewise the front is lower. I bought a 1/2" spacer kit for the front, but now I'm having second thoughts. What are some of the more common options for fixing some of that front sag? We may add a 2-3" lift to it someday, but its very likely that we will leave it stock.

Another option I was considering was a leveling kit that brings the front up more than the rear, but I don't want to start getting wobble problems, and we plan on keeping the Jeep for a long time and lift kits often have subpar components when considering their longevity.

If you added an aftermarket steel bumper, you might look up the weight and that of the winch. That will give you an idea of what options might work well. Also, look up the weight of your engine vs the various other engines. For instance, if your engine is about 200 lbs lighter than say the diesel and your bumper/winch increased weight was about 200 lbs., you might look into some takeoff springs from the diesel JLUR or say the 392. Just a thought.

Of course, the other approach would be to contact a suspension manufacturer like Rock Krawler and describe your situation (added weight and sag) and let them help. They sell springs separately from full lift kits.

If not looking to lift it for the time being, adding 1/2" spacers to the front is perfectly fine. I would just suggest also adding a set of the mopar lift front lower control arms for less than $100 to increase caster to offset the small height increase. Caster tends to be a bit on the too light side to begin with on a stock height Rubicon.

Also, aftermarket lift components from reputable sources are of vastly higher quality than factory components. Their adjustability, better bushings, and stronger construction result in overall better ride, handling, and longevity.

I have the MC GC 3.5 lift. When I put the steel bumper and warn 12k winch on the front of the jeep drooped about an inch. MC sent different spring pads but honestly didn't make any difference. I ended up getting the RK 4.5 font springs and this leveled the jeep. I think that between the extra weight of the diesel engine, bumper and winch I needed stronger springs. I was going to use spacers but decided against that.

Headbar... are these the control bars you're talking about?

Ruby... I'd be open to new springs, but if they're wrong then I'm looking at a larger bill to swap them out. I've done stuff like this before (full suspension swaps on Bronco 2 and lifts on Rangers), but I'll be honest and say that its just straight up too much work for me now. Too much other stuff going on, and I just don't trust my skills enough anymore. Plus, I'm a bit of a hack sometimes. This Jeep deserves better than my skills.
