Glad to know I am not alone!

What's the best way to raise the front with the right up travel? The rear is about 2" taller than the front now so I hope I can just swap the front springs with firmer ones from mopar to level it out.

Thanks,
Michael
I seem to recall all the 3.0L equipped Wranglers being approx. 1" taller in the front. Now yours and others are 2" taller in the rear all stock? What changed?

I have an XR and the really long, welded in bump stops that from the factory have like maybe 1.5 inches of uptravel…I bottomed out going through minor bumps ??

The problem is lack of up travel. You are sitting on 3” or less up travel currently. Add a 2.5” lift and no additional bump stops and you’ll be in much better shape. (4.5”-5” of up travel) I went through the same issues on my XR. I catalog upgrading shocks before lifting in my build thread and lifting is required to address the issue.
I can barely get into my garage now so 2.5" lift is probably pushing the limit. Unless I can maintain stock height with the 2.5" front lift springs like you mentioned in your build.

It does come with tow package. Maybe it's padded at the rear to accommodate tongue load?

This is my version of the fix. Tested it with the speed bump where it was bottoming out before and it seems to be good. Thanks all for your help!

I thought I was on crack. My JKRR 6spd with lots of weight added on JKURR springs never hit the bump stops. I hit on easy offroad trails in the JLURD. Guess I need to pony up yet more money. Thanks Jeep.

My JLURD does it too. Seems like the smallest bumps I hit bottom. Stock except for winch and different front bumper.

Swapped the original setup with the ones from JTRD. May not be obvious from the picture. And my frontend is also much lighter, plastic bumper with no winch.

I fixed my same problem with Clayton 1 1/2” front springs and I found some 392 shocks. Rides much better and no more bottoming out. Mine drooped a little after my steel bumper and wench. Now it’s back to level.
