Front Camera Shortcut

Hi @JeepCares and friends at ZAutomotive/Tazer:

How hard would it be to get us a shortcut on the main screen for the front camera? Any plans to bring it in one of the future updates?

I know off-road pages brings up a shortcut but I find needing the front camera more during daily city driving/parking, but as it stands, having to put the car in reverse (or going through shortcuts-reverse cam-front camera) and tap the front camera to see how close I am to the car in front. The line going across the top of the u-connect 5 screen seems to have more than ample space to throw us a direct shortcut to the front camera.

I know I can’t be the only person here that would greatly welcome such a change.

I use the "Shortcuts" widget on the home screen for that. I also have the Backup camera on the top toolbar, and that can be accessed from any screen, then switch to the Front camera once there.

yes! thanks. Had no idea we could do this…had me sitting around for months wondering if an update would handle this

You can also hit the camera icon on the top of the screen rather than going to the Shortcuts tab. All of that is in the manual.
