Rains here in Arizona are a mixed blessing, if we can get a slow drizzle type rain it has time to soak in...ish. That which we call a soil, is remarkably similar to concrete, set and cured concrete...it's called caliche. When we get a downpour it's like raining on a parking lot, very little of it soaks in.

I thought about those removable panels, that they make a very good case for a partial roof rack rather than a full one. Even if you roll over on your side it'd be easier to escape via those panels rather than trying to lift the door that's on the top side of a overturned vehicle.
