While pulling off my passenger front passenger wheel in order to check and re torque my balljoints l noticed this line or straight crack on my rotor. Jeep drives fine all other rotors are smooth and do not have any lines???
Should I replace and if so do I need to replace the pads as well. FYI-
21 JLU Willys with 18k miles.

any advice or anyone experience the same?

I can't tell if it is a crack,it looks like a fracture at the very bottom, but that surface is damaged- sand ? Replace rotors and pads in pairs, not just one side, but both sides. Why ? Rotor and pad thickness, materials should be matched for even braking and wear.

thanks for the insight - probably damaged from last wheeling trip - lots of water and mud then had a long drive home. Going to order a pad and rotor kit from powerstop asap.
