Just got one (Genius 5) and hooked it up after driving the Jeep about 15 miles. The LED bars showed only 25% charge and it took about an hour to bring it to full charge. I checked the voltage before hooking up, and it showed 12.4. Not sure if I have a problem with the charging or not, but it always spins the starter just fine. Also, when hooking up to the main battery, does it charge the start stop battery also or is there a diode in the line somewhere? Thanks in advance!

It doesn’t show how much battery power is left. The bar only show the charging progress.

So regardless of how much juice you have left it will always start at the 0-25% bar.
