Dude!
My cousin had one of those on the range this weekend too.
I think he said the FRT cost him like $40.
It was a hoot...
I call it his FaRT gun cause it ripps off like a flatulent chihuahua...
Yep, it's a stupid high rate of fire, internet claims 1900 rpm.
That was a 24 round mag in one rip.
It's only 22lr but you still need to brace a bit/lean into it a bit, you see how I let it jump up on me because I was talking crap and not paying attention enough.

Taurus TX22 with a Freedom Fingers FRT.
Stupid fun and still cheap enough to actually shoot.
Downside is that it no longer has a semi function, safe and FRT only.

That right there is a money hose!!!

FYI-they make some tungsten weights that slow the rate of fire down somewhat..
Now that we know it runs fine(and how fun it is) he's planning on getting some..

I'm going to look into that route as I'd really like to run it suppressed and with the added back pressure, I think the action is outrunning the magazines feeding ability. It'll run 3-4 rounds and hang up as is with a suppressor mounted.

Perhaps a heavier magazine spring might help? I would also polish the crap out of the feed ramp, if you haven’t already.

ISO a pistol mount for my JLU, not much room under the dash. I've had a top mounted magnet based quick draw mount from Vulcan Arms. I'd like to have something similar, b/c it allows for a quick rack as you pull it from the mount, should you choose to leave your firearm not hot.

https://vulcanarms.com/products/quickdraw-optic what I used to use. if you're interested or have a vehicle that it works in. there are other side mounted mounts out there, but not that let you rack them.

Thanks
Frank

Why would you want to leave a gun unchambered?

I have the same question. But I do understand that many folks, with no tactical handgun experience, are uncomfortable carrying with a round in the chamber. That can be trained out of them.

As an instructor of students with little or no handgun experience, I start off with them handling their guns with no ammo in them and slowly build them up to holstering and carrying guns hot over the course of one day on the range. Depending on the part of the day, I encourage them to wear their guns during lunch and snack breaks. Nothing builds confidence like actual experience.
