Had expected to purchase a new JL last winter but when we went to check them out it was extremely difficult for my 5' wife to get into. We never even bothered to drive one.
Fast forward a year. Friends showed up with a new Rubi on which they had installed a set of electric steps. She was able to get in and out. Right now I'm working with a couple central Florida dealers (Airport and Courtesy, although the former has been far more responsive so far).
First mod will be ordering a set of steps. She wants a nice wide step, so far I've found a couple that look like they'd qualify. After that, set up to flat tow. Think I'll go with the Maximus 3 tow set up, last two I used the Blue Ox base plate but it hangs down so far. Will definitely go back to the Airforce One supplimental brake. Undecided on the tow harness as yet.
