After order has been placed how long does urban typically take to receive a your VIN?

You should get a VIN in less than 7 days. Sometimes within a day or two but that's just the 2nd step of a long journey

It took three to four weeks before I got my VIN from my dealer but that was early in the process. The order banks opened in late October but I’m not certain the exact date my order was submitted. I ordered November 8 , 2017 and received a vin December 6 th

my order was placed on Jan 4th and I too have yet to receive a VIN. Glad to hear it’s not just my dealer. Probably on a backlog of all the JL’s ordered before orders officially opened up. Hoping it comes any day now.

I Just went to Jeep chat and chatted with Darryl. I entered my name address and VON. I asked Darryl when I might get a VIN # and what my order status was. Darryl told that my order was D status but did not provide me a VIN.

D status per Darryl "The parts required to build the vehicle are scheduled and as soon as they are available and ready the order will be scheduled for build"

"Most orders are scheduled for build within 30 days after reaching this stage"

I just order yesterday and I know it takes months, plus I'm way behind most on ordering but I'm seeing these discussions about when will I know my vin. My order sheet has a VIN and I just ordered yesterday. Any idea??
