I live on a 3 mile long dirt road that is often very muddy. The sides of the Jeep are perpetually covered in mud. Cow ?? is often flung down the side of the vehicle - it lands nicely on the rear fenders for people to brush against when entering and exiting the vehicle. For almost the past year this has been occurring. I have a JLURD with 37" BFG KO2s on OEM 392 wheels and no lift.

I am currently in the process of installing a AEV dual sport 2.5" lift. I need to get wheel spacers because the 392 wheels are almost touching the wheel. I am debating whether to get 1.25" Bora spacers or the standard 1.75" Spidertrax/Teraflex. I think I'm going to get spray while turning no matter what, but how much worse will it be with the 1.75"?

Do you think there will by any difference in mud spray between the 1.25" & 1.75" spacers?

Is there any good way to stop the mud and feces from spraying down the whole side of the vehicle that looks reasonable? Fender flare extensions, etc?

Thanks!

I live down a 1/4 mile dirt / mud driveway and I have a Rubicon with 0 offset wheels and 315/70R17 tires. I ALWAYS have mud sprayed across the sides of the jeep.

I'm considering doing the XR flare extensions and a set of the ROCKBLOKZ front mudflaps.
