I think it is fair, regear alone is a $1.5k-$2k job.

However just you know after you done all these swap, you pretty much can say bye bye to factory warranty for any suspension and drive train issue.

IDGAF lol

Edit: I do care. Just not enough to prevent me from making the changes. I don’t want parts to fail, but I’m adding better, stronger components at the end of the day.

That seems very expensive.

What gears did you get?

Thats a fair estimate for sure. You are getting genuine Dana gears, steering parts, and install which to my in head-calculations rounds to about 40% parts and 60% install.

Not that anyone is guilty in this thread so far, but I hope people realize that throwing out labor quotes is going to be relative to the area that you live in too. There are areas around ORW that are charging $150/hr on average, and there are places in different parts of the country where $60/hour is average.

A good shop should be at or slightly below the area average, and not be charging extra hours for easy stuff. A gear job should be a 3-4 hour charge at most per axle. If anyone is charging more hours than that, you know its a bad quote.

I appreciate the advice. My quote was jacked up.. My fault. It's much more expensive. Lol
