I have the Factor 55 flatlink E and I'm trying to use it with the warn zeon 10 synthetic black rope eyelet. There is not enough room in the factor 55 for the black eyelet to move freely. Is that normal? It went in at a 90 degree angle so it sat flat against the fairlead but after tensioning the rope it straightened out in the process. Now it is too tight to move back to 90 to sit flat on the fairlead again.

What am I missing?

Can you compress the eyelet to give it a little more movement

Brett
That was the only thing I was thinking to try. I was hesitant though because I was worried about pinching or compressing the rope in some way that might make it weaker. Never used synthetic rope so not sure what is acceptable.

Went ahead with trying to compress the eyelet. The factor 55 website actually suggests it. They say it is usually an issue with Chinese made products, but I guess the Warn Zeon is not an exception.

I only have 16 ounce hammers which is not enough to move it. The 8lb sledge hammer did the trick though. It is a bit marred for never being used but moves freely now.
