Extended Warranties

Just curious if anyone has gone with Mopar for extended warranty on their wrangler? I am coming up on 1yr of ownership, and kicking around ideas for extending warranty. I am in NJ, so if anyone in area has any thoughts on company to use. Or companies that do out of state warranties. I have seen on here in past Tom Winkle for extended warranty. Tried email that was posted, but was no good. Email was not found.

My thoughts on extended warranties is that they are simply a waste unless it turns out you need it
Anything major should raise its head in the first 3 years but if the peace of mind is worth it to you, well then its worth it. But most of the "expert" advice out there I have seen states in most cases it is not a wise financial decision.

Then there is the fact that most dealerships service departments are horrible, with terrible wait times and questionable techs that are still struggling with the fact the JL 3.6 takes 5 quarts of oil not 6. Everything I can track down and fix myself I do, don't want those guys anywhere near my Jeep.

Hi, I’m in jersey too and my advice would be to stick with mopar simply cause all jeep dealers will have to honor it unfortunately I can’t say that will be the case with third parties warranties sometimes every dealer is different, also you can purchase anywhere or from anyone you get a good deal from so shop around, you can get a quick quote online on this site just to get an idea of price range
