Are All Mopar Warranties the Same?

Hey David. Just curious where did you purchase your Ford contract for your wrangler? Did u just get in contact with a Ford dealer near you and negotiated from there? Is it the same terms and contract wording as the contract for a ford vehicle? (Just wanting to take a look at an example contract online for an idea on conditions
/limitations etc) and if you don't mind telling how much you paid for it? Trying to get an idea of how it compares to a Mopar plan. Thanks for any help and info!

Yes, I bought it from a Ford dealer about 150 miles from me, not my local dealer.

It's Ford's highest level (Platinum?) of extended warranty and yes, it's the same one you'd be offered by Ford on a Ford.

I bought it because it extends the number of service centers that I can use it at. (See: Mopar's limitations)

I have used it at my local Jeep dealer when my transfer case failed, well after the original mfg. warranty ran out, they honored every part of the contract.

When my wife was shopping warranties for her JL this past May, I went to our local Ford dealer to see if they would sell us the same level of warranty and they would've been more than happy too. But she decided to go with Mopar's - her vehicle, her choice.

That's pretty clear now. When I bought my Jeep in 2024, the dealer never tried to sell me anything extra, just the included Mopar CPO warranty.

Sounds like it's just the powertrain warranty you get when you buy a CPO Wrangler. I have the exact same coverage from when I purchased my CPO in July 2024. When the dealership certifies the vehicle that's automatically included.

I had to came over to Canada for a long term assignment, and, for insurance purposes, had to register my Jeep locally. It is still under the factory warranty for another couple of years, but I am hearing conflicted reports about the extended warranty: Mopar is happy to sell it to me, but the fine print says it may not be honored if registered out of the US. WTF?
