Jeep Wrangler JL Extended brake line, what about abs sensor cable? IMG_6559
Hi all

attaching a photo of newly installed extended brake line.
Do I need to tie them together or just leave them as is? Another question, what’s the point of the extended brake line as the abs sensor line is still the same length?

I put a 3.5" Teraflex Alpine lift on my JL and I didn't extend my brake lines. I used the Teraflex Brake line anchors that came in the lift kit. They bolt to the lower shock mount and works perfect. I have front and rear Rockjock Antirock sway bars also and no issues with brake lines or ABS sensor line. The Teraflex brake line anchors holds both lines. Northridge4x4.com sells them separately from the Teraflex lift kit. $25 i think

Those anchors are awesome, we use them on a lot of different lifts, not just for TeraFlex.

what can you do with the teraflex bracket? Why not using the bracket that’s installed under the coil spring? Extra length?

Extended brake line - i got it. But the abs sensor wire is same length. How to get that extended?

Yes @Mudyapster he understands the extended brake line parts. He’s asking about the ABS line, not the brake line. He’s might have something that sits higher than yours. Even though you don’t need ABS lines since you’re only lifted 3.5” he might need them.

In my honest opinion I believe your shocks will bottom out first, limiting the amount of down travel you have. So in theory it shouldn’t stretch your ABS wires. To put that into perspective, I have a 4.5” lift and don’t even use extended brake lines.
