Engine oil separator = oil catch can?

Hi guys, I was trying to do a little preventative maintenance on my jeep, meaning installing an oil catch can. Therefore, I need to find out where the PCV valve is. What I found on a Mopar parts website is that there is an engine oil separator under crankcase ventilation. Is it the same as a catch can? Or they are completely different things? Thanks!

If it's what I think it is, it makes your engine run off of dirty air. It'll make your intake a slimy mess.
