Engine code.

What is engine code, Erc g and Erg 3. Can’t find on my paper work. Amsoil list these two different codes for the 3.6 when in the engine selection choice for ordering oil etc. thanks

The “G” should be the VIN engine code.

The eighth position on the VIN is engine
G = 3.6L V6

I’m uncertain about the “3” but the ERG references a 3.6L V6 with Etorque on a build sheet.
