So I saw the 3.6 has a dual battery for start stop and of course the mild hybrids have a 48v battery but what does this all mean if you want to run accessories like a fridge?
I’ve been planning on hooking up an ARB or other fridge to the car and planned on getting a dual battery setup with a deep cycle but I’m a little confused about
1. Which battery do the accessories run off (in both the 3.6 and 2.0)
2. Do the mild hybrids have 3 batteries?
3. Is a deep cycle dual battery even necessary when there are two batteries.
I guess I’m trying to figure out which battery runs the accessories, does it retain power engine off, is it a deep cycle, and how many amp hours will it run.
I’m thinking these are al designed to be CCA driven not deep cycle so a dual battery would still be the desired way to go for the accessories use but wasn’t sure.
Last thing I want is my car not to start while camping or to have the food spoil.
