It’s certainly POSSIBLE I left something on too. I bought a 12V jumping pack today to carry with me so I don’t get stranded and I’ll see how she behaves going forward.
I wonder if there are any unexpected parasitic charges in your JL.. . have you installed or modified anything electrical?

The original OEM main battery is covered under the Basic Limited Warranty for 36 months from the date it begins or for 36,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first.

Are you certain that you are not draining the battery when flat towing? Marker lights, brake lights, etc? Others have had problems with the electrical system after towing.

I’m 100% certain. Power to the lights come from the RV and the braking system is pneumatic running off the air brakes from the RV.

Over the past few days, I’ve been able to start it with a portable jumper pack & it runs fine. It’ll restart without the jumper pack after driving but not if it sits for an extended period (hours). It seems as if the battery cannot HOLD a charge.

I put it on a charger overnight and the charger read “full charge” this morning. It started right up & I connected it to my RV for the final leg of the drive home (~6hrs). Not surprisingly, it was dead when I got here & it had to be jumped. This also seems consistent with the battery not HOLDING a charge.

It’s probably best I just replace it myself given the extensive mods to the Jeep - suspension, axles, compressor, wheels, tires, Tazer, winch, lighting, etc. I’m pretty confident they would point to something that would disqualify any battery claim.

The 3.6 e-torque DOES NOT have an AUX battery.
Good to know. I’m pretty focused on the main battery as the culprit at this point. I’m finally home & going to get a replacement tomorrow (the bigger H7 vs the current H6 size).
