Hello to all members,,, Thank you in advance for reading ......... Please refer to the image below,,,,, The part I drew a arrow facing downward is the part I have a question on., I am doing a relocation of the electric vacuum pump,,,,,it seems to me that the part indicated on the diagram seems more than just a 90 degree fitting for the rubber hose,,, it almost seems to be a a check valve of sort,, has a diaphragm shape to it..... Does not match up to the other 90 degree fittings. It would make sense to have some sort of check valve on the system, so when the pump shuts off ,, the vacuum is held in place. Just trying to plan out the new plumbing run for the relocation.
Wanted to see what others on here think as well. It will become more apparent when I start my project and have it in my hand to investigate further. That entire hose assembly is sold as one piece,,, so no luck to find it listed separately.
