Didn't Zautomotive come out with a sensor? Maybe it was a harness? Idk it's Saturday and I've had to many shots to make an actual impact on this thread. All I know is I wired mine on a sport to a set of aux switches and I can turn them on whenever I want!!

Crazy that you bought a whole axle assembly just to pull out a little locker sensor. Unbelievable that FCA doesnt offer this sensor separately.
The bad thing is the new sensor went bad about 2000 miles.

yup, the sensor is not needed for a sport or a Sahara. Z AUTOMOTIVE did come out with a bypass wiring harness 2 weeks after I bought the axle.
