Dual Top Option

I am considering ordering a 2026 Willys. My 2013 Rubicon and 2017 Sport both had the Dual Top Option. The hard top included in those JKu's was a 3-piece top. The Dealership I talked to said the hardtop that comes with the Dual Top Option is a one-piece top. Is that Right? Doesn't seem right to me, as i would have expected a 3-piece unit

I've not yet seen a JL-era Wrangler hardtop that didn't have the separate and removable Freedom panels...thus making the entire hardtop a 3-piece affair.

Dual top optioned JLs come with one big box taking up the entirety of the area behind the front seats. (Do consider this if you intend on taking more than one passenger to pick up the vehicle new from the dealer.)

That box stores the soft top.

Maybe that's what the dealer meant or was actually confused by. After all dealership salespeople are such experts on Wranglers (not.)

JL hardtop is a 3 piece just like the JK. If you want both tops definitely option the dual top group.

If you order hardtop you have three options.
Dual top- hardtop on Jeep softtop in a big ass box as mentioned above
Hardtop only
Sunrider top option, if available, where you will have the hardtop on Jeep and the Sunrider top will be in a box inside Jeep like the softtop option but obviously taking up less interior space.

The one thing I'll add is when I was looking at ordering a 2025 Rubicon you could get the color matching hard top but if you ordered the dual top option you only get the black hard top even though build and price showed it as color matching.

Not sure that matters to you. I bought a soft topped jeep then bought a color matching hard top off facebook. Yeah the wiring for the wiper, defrost, and fluid are not there.
