Anyone have luck using the OEM DRL halos as turn indicators. I think it's as easy as a splice from the indicator and tie into the halo. If utilizing the DRL as well a relay will be needed for switching. Any input or wiring diagrams, wire identification (color code) would be great. I can see spending $$$ on headlights when we already have them.

I have deleted the fenders on my gladiator and did the same thing. The best way I have figured out to do this and still have halos working as DRLs is by using two 5 pin 12v relays. You will cut the wire going into the halo. Wire the supply wire to pin 30 on the relay. The wire going to the halo to pin 87a. Then the power wire supplying the turn signal wire to pin 86 and the ground wire from the turn signal to pin 85. If you have factory halogens to stop hyperflashing you can either install a resistor design for led lights before pins or use JScan to set them to factory LEDs turn signals, deactivate fron turn signal diagnostics. There are 3 of them so do a search. Front, left and right followed by a clear codes and two sleep cycles with 5 minute wait between and turn on turn signals for 10 seconds in-between. If you have factory LEDs. Using JScan you deactivate front led first and clear codes then do a sleep cycle followed by the instructions above. You will need two relays and wire them before doing the programming. This way is for deleting the front factory signals. If you are keeping the factory turn signals I would cut the turn signal ground wire and wire the piece coming from the turn signal to pin 86 and the other piece going to ground to pin 85. If you have any questions just ask.

For Jeep JT and JL at the connector pin 2 WH/GN left turn signal wire and black is ground. Right is pin 2 WH/BG for turn signal and black is ground.
