I find the rake of the seats in the JL similar to my JK. I have no complaints with that.
My only complaint with the seat is that if you pull the side lever up to lift the seat, every time you get out, the side bolster collapses and pushes the lever back down, lowering the seat again. The next time you get in, the seat is lower as a result. Doesn’t bother me since I’m about 6’ and use the lowest seat position, but my wife likes the seat slightly raised and it annoys her every time she gets out. Good thing it’s MY Jeep.
