Anyone take their doors off and drive around with their soft top windows in still? I usually take them out but feel like leaving them in this weekend with the way I packed the camping stuff.

Can’t be that much more strain than having all the windows down.

I have the 60 side up and 40 side down as far as the seats go.

Just to let everyone know, I ended up trying this and drove around 300 miles in this configuration.

None of them came loose. It really seems that the back window secures them in very well

This is good to hear. Quite a few folks have been complaining of the windows coming loose with doors on and windows shut. Hopefully they're the outliers, and your experience is the norm. Thanks for posting!

I think the issues have been driving with the sides in and back out which I often did with my JK. But in the JL the back window helps secure the sides so I could definitely see the tabs working their way out and window sliding off the track. I’m sure it’s more a highway speed issue...even my back window tabs still come undone driving with door windows down and softop windows in above 50or so.

The plastic windows will stretch more, no? After a year or two, you develop the baggy look. .. kind of like Broncos look from the factory.
