After I removed the doors last weekend and put them back on earlier this week the dome light will not come on when I open the front passenger door. Remote start also will not work and says that a door is open.

The door open indicator light does not come on, it may have when I first drove it and eventually it got tired and turned off, but it shows up on all of the others. I checked the wiring harness for any loose wires on both ends and didn't see any that I could tell were lose. The pins look to be fine as well.

Anyone have any ideas?

The pins in those connectors used to get pushed back so they were too "shallow" to connect when you hook the two ends together. It's a bitch because it's hard to see and there's no slack down there to work with, but somehow you have to look at each pin individually and ensure it's aligned with all the others.

That's my two-cents. It's gonna be a low-tech problem to be sure :)

I finally got it to connect and work. Neither mirror would adjust either but it appeared to be one or two pins in there a little off so I took a pair of tweezers to the driver's side connector and then they magically worked later that day. It's a shame that you seem to have to be very careful with those when hooking them back up after putting doors back on. Oh well, just adds more to the checklist once they get put back on.

If you get those pins seated properly the little "teeth" that hold them in place might engage better than they were before -- meaning they may not have been seated properly in the first place but will in the future mo betta.

You could also very carefully pull them out and bend the little teeth ever so slightly outward so they engage better with the plastic. Do not mess with it unless you're the kind of person capable of soldering a new pin on if it gets f#$@#d up :)
