They are closed today and tomorrow so I can’t ask them but they are selling the method MR106 beadlock wheel! And when I go to checkout it automatically requires me to pay a $20 per tire installation fee.

Does anyone know if this is true that @Discount Tire mounts and balances true beadlock wheels that they sell? Shoot if not I best be getting my $100 back. Otherwise I’ll gladly pay them $20 per tire to mount and balance and not break my back doing it.

They sell all kinds of wheels, I think the install fee is just more of an 'auto' placeholder. that shows up on their site. Discount near me won't touch them.

That’s a big negative. They will not mount them. They will break the beads if you need to get the tires off. They will rotate and balance them once you mount them though.

Oh that’s good to hear that they balance.... so I’m guessing they just adjust the price when I actually pay in person and pick up the wheels.

With my experiences with them, I would not want them anywhere near my headlocks. Broken wheel studs, not torquing down all the lug nuts, forgetting to put all the lug nuts on,, etc..You have to be patient when doing a set of bead locks.

Those are going to look nice.

My DT won't even balance them. But a good set of beadlocks and tires should not need balancing.
