Difference Between Infinity REF3022CFX 3.5 and Infinity REF3032CFX 3.5

I'm shopping to replace the front dash speakers. Looking for something that's pretty plug-and-play. Seems like a lot of you are recommending either the Kicker option, or the Infinity. Thing is, there are TWO Infinity models for sale on Amazon, with pretty different price points. I'm usually pretty good at this, but I can't spot the difference, other than one number being different in the model name!

Can anyone tell me if there's a difference between the
Infinity REF3022CFX 3.5 and the
Infinity REF3032CFX 3.5?

They look the same to me, but not something I want to be wrong about!

Looks like the part number was superseded. All the specs are identical. Materials are the same. Mounting tabs are the same as well. If you get a good deal on one of them, go for it.

This was my thinking as well, was just hoping someone else would be on the same wavelength to give me peace of mind ordering this. It's a big difference. A pair of these speakers is $89.99 on Crutchfield, but $48 on Amazon last I checked. I love Crutchfield, but I love my wallet more. Thanks! I'll give these a shot!

Way back in the day when i used to work retail manufacturers would sell the exact same items with different part numbers so that the box stores would not have to do the price matching so this may be something along these lines.

Also, when there is a year to year change and/or a manufacturer makes a slight change in the manufacturing of a product (i.e. they switch out a jumper on the motherboard) they will make a model number change like this to differentiate for warranty purposes.
