Anyone with this system, is it worth the $1900 price they’re asking or is there a comparative solution out there?

I just wanted a hard toneau cover so I went with JF Tops. Well made, extremely durable and a lot cheaper than the Diabolic.

Its a super nice bit of kit that is well made and the guys there seemed super chill when I talked to them at Jeep Beach a few years ago. However I felt that $1900 could be spent in many better ways and just dont leave things in the Jeep that I cant replace.

I've got it after wasting money on the Tuffy first. I wish it were that cheap! I went with the added slide out bottom and the 4" top extension with slide out drawer. It gives me peace of mind when the jeep is doorless and they can't get in, not sure what price tag that's worth. The bottom drawer can be a little finicky when out on the trail. If you try sliding it out while parked with any slope or pitch it can get bound up. I do love it though.
Alan and Brandon have both been awesome. Anytime I have a question or problem they are quick to answer and both have given me their cell phone numbers, not something I would do but it means you have direct access to help if you need it. Great guys and great company.

I think it was closer to $1500 when I got mine, but worth it. Very secure enclosure for top off and you keep the size of the interior the same. Easy off on the top if needed too.

Yes! One of my favorite and most used mods.

I love my Slipstream. I bought it when it was first released. Not sure I would pay $1,900 (full price) for it. They do run sales throughout the year making it a better buy. It does offer the best modularity and cargo space of all of the available options. Here is a less expensive alternative. https://www.ez4x4.com/collections/ez-security-folding-trunks

Good video on comparing EZ Trunk to Diabolical.

It’s a top of the line enclosure. I was able to snag it BNIB on here for $200. Even though I’ve invested thousands into my Jeep, I don’t think I would pay $2k for it. EZ 4x4, EZTRUNK looks promising.

Another for the con side of the EZ Trunk is that all the bolt/screw heads are exposed on top. Not certain if someone can access it with a screw driver or not, since you can see the head of the Phillips screws. The diabolical has all smooth heads so it's impossible to turn anything loose. That 2+ inches on each side you lose with the EZT is unacceptable to me as I use every inch of space in there. Alan at Diabolical also offered me the foam top covers for free since I purchased so much with mine (two slide out drawers, plus top extension). There is also more top holes for water entry in the EZT where as the DSS has no holes, however it's not 100% leak proof. The DSS is definitely more cheddar but I think it's a cleaner system. You lose no room in the cargo area and the top is tighter than fort Knox. I can also stand on it if I need to secure anything on top of the jeep or just to get a little high 😏
