Do you have to have a CDL to drive a 5500 as part of an LLC? Or do you just cut it off at the 26,000 lb mark?

Do you have to have a CDL to drive a 5500 as part of an LLC? Or do you just cut it off at the 26,000 lb mark?
Oh yeah.....run the full deal. CDL, 38,000 lb apportioned plates, IFTA, commercial insurance, medical card, drug consortium, etc.

The 5500 has a 19,500 lb GVWR....so even a 7k trailer would put one into CDL territory. (sidenote...3500 series dually pickups are 14,000 lb GVWR).

I kind of like the idea of going with a Ram 2500 Cummins, and then doing like you did with a bed swap!
