Decent wire

Where are you guys getting your electrical wire for your lights? I’ve tried trailer wire from Home Depot and Walmart and I’ve had to rip it out twice now because it gets brittle and breaks after a winter exposed to the elements.

Is there like a “Mercedes“ of low voltage electrical wire?

Most silicone jacketed wire is rated to -60 deg C. I've used BNTECHGO silicone jacketed wire for several projects. It's not too expensive and I like that it's composed 680 strands 0.08 mm tinned copper wire. Extremely heat resistant too.

The best wire I have found for automotive wiring is Tefzel insulated wire mil spec. This wire is used in aircraft and off road race cars. I order the wire through Prowire USA. https://prowireusa.com/
